Handbuilding course (8 weeks) Sept 25-Nov 13

Hand building class (8 weeks starting September 25th to November 13th, Thursdays from 6-8pm, $175): Our only class for non-members, and the first step to becoming a member at Sudbury Basin Potters. This 8 week handbuilding class teaches you the basics of working with pottery. The class takes place at the studio in New Sudbury, and the class fee includes your clay and firing fees.

Outline of course:

Week 1: Pinch pots
Week 2: Coiling
Week 3: Slab
Week 4: Masks
Week 5: Boxes
Week 6: Glazing
Week 7: Glazing
Week 8: Pick up pieces

Excerpt from Course/workshop refunds policy:

Hand Building or Wheel Class
- Withdrawal minimum of a week in advance: 50% refund
- Withdrawal of participant less than a week in advance: no refund
- Withdrawal once the participant starts the class: no refund
Handbuilding Course Notes:
- If the person misses 3 or more handbuilding classes, the course is deemed incomplete and therefore the participant is not eligible to become a member and there will be no refund.
- No make up class time will be available for participants who miss class time for any reason.
